5 Micron rating will remove particles as small particles as small as 5 micron in size.  This includes common contaminants such as sediment, sand, silt, and rust.  The 5 micron filter also helps remove particles that cause cloudiness resulting in clearer water.

Compatible with the Puretec PL051 and Davey 5PP10 cartridges
